If it's there, I'll read it
I am a serious reader. I love good translated crime fiction, translated fiction, literary fiction. Weird fiction, cosmic horror and nonfiction (but not self-help) are my favorites. I don't really blog about books to gain followers, but feel free to comment at any time!
my monthly shelf clean out: 4 books available to US readers
At my online reading journal blog, I normally take a few books that I'm not keeping and give them away each month. This month's titles are
1. ARC: How to Get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia, by Mohsin Hamid (I bought a copy so this one's available)
2. ARC: The Burn Palace, by Stephen Dobyns
3. The Book About Blanche and Marie, by Per Olov Enquist (on the 1001 books list)
(I did have Death of Bees, by Lisa O'Donnell, but it was snagged right away!)
If you live in the US and want any of these titles, they're free -- I pay postage. All you have to do is go to the blog and a) leave a comment telling me which book you want, and then send an email at oakesn@gmail.com with contact info.
